Three Svens

I missed this one a few weeks back so I thought I'd just slip it in here as long as I have Blogger open.

Papa Sven came out fishing with Little Sven and Betty a few weeks back. The night before I had a big musky follow a topwater right up to the boat, so I was interested in doing a little hunting.

Unfortunately whipping small logs with 9 razor sharp hooks in them isn't the safest activity with 2 little urchins in the boat, so we rigged slip bobbers and tried to catch some crappies.

Nothing was hitting in the usual spots, so we just drifted for a bit. Every 3 minutes after the first half hour little Sven would ask, "Hey dad - how long until we can go fast!"

After a little hunting I gave in and we took a quick spin around the lake before racing the clouds to the driveway.
